New players get Full Option items for joining!

Two days ago Sunshine Mu started a new event or better-said campaign. Every new player that joins Sunshine Mu will get FULL STATS and items in equivalent of 300.000 CREDITS. Now that’s something!

If you are a new player and want to claim your prize all you have to do is follow this link and leave a reply containing you character name and the items you want as a reward (NOTE: Before making the post make sure that the items you want are available in the webshop and that they don’t cost more than 300.000 credits. Otherwise you will be rejected.)

Soul Exchange

Yesterday, due to players having too much Jewels of Soul, took place a Soul to Credits exchange. During this exchange all the souls you have above 300 were transformed in credits at the ratio of 1 SOUL = 25 CREDITS.

Not sure if the soul amount is calculated per account or per character but they did say that everything is checked, even vaults and website market so I believe it’s per account – this meaning that after the exchange none had left more than 300 souls in their account.

Why did they do this? They say it’s to lower market prices, to help newbies acquire better items.

Can I get my souls back? I don’t want credits! No you cant. But you can start hunting for more since the SOUL DROP RATE  has INCREASED.

New template

Hello everyone! As you might have noticed I changed the blog template yesterday and I just wanted to share the reasons for why I did this.

1. Google Page Rank – with this template I can add gadgets at the bottom of the blog so I added a couple of RSS feeds including one from our website and one from our forum. This will hopefully help increase sunshinemu.com’s page rank moving it higher in the search results thus bringing more visitors to the website / forum and maybe more players!? Who knows.

Things not to do in the webshop

A new announcement came up in the Sunshine Mu forums regarding the not to do things in the web shop.
 Here is what the announcement says:
  

1. Do not rush to purchase your items, carefully pick the luck + additional options (skill+luck+7%hp...) + excellent options. And do not pick 4-6 options if you intend to trade them around
2. Do not store any season1 items when you purchasing items from web-shop
3. Do not leave your vault open when you are purchasing
4. Don't choose the last 2 options in purchasing 3rd wings,only choose first 4 options
5. Don't buy season 4 items in webshop and expect them to come with sockets. All of the webshop season 4 items don't have sockets

Please pay attention to this simple lines because in case you don't respect them and you buy the wrong item your credits might not be refunded.
Also, in order to stay up to date with possible changes regularly check this thread and the announcement section.

Season 5 Maps

Below you have 5 videos showing you the 5 new maps upcoming in Season 5. Don't know their names yet, and didn't bother to search for them either. Two of the maps look good in my opinion, while the other three, again in my opinion, were made in a rush, just to have them made.

A couple of days ago, we got ourselves a facebook group, which is also meant to keep you up to date with the major events and updates of the server. To join it you must create a facebook account or if you already have one, just click here and join.

Fake virus reports

Due to the fact that our main.exe file is encrypted and antiviruses / internet security suites can't open it, many of them report the file as virus / malware, which is just a fake report. If so, we recommend either adding the file to your antivirus exceptions or downloading Comodo Free Antivirus & Firewall by clicking here.

Votes reseted

Votes got reset once again on xTreme top 100, so please do vote for our server as often as you can. At the moment we are on rank #9 but if players don't vote we won't stand there for long. Click here to vote.

Keep in mind that the better the rank we got the bigger the prizes will be at our 2 years anniversary events.

Free VIP access

VIP server is now open for public, meaning that you don't have to pay to enter it. It won't last forever, it's just for a week, and the only disadvantage is that the account slots are limited, meaning that a maximum of 30 players can enter it at once.

Why is the VIP server better than the others? Because of the following:

[Announcement] Reset problems

If you are using Internet Explorer (even if it is the latest version) you might encounter problems while trying to reset your character and/or viewing the website correctly. We've had several reports regarding this issue.

To avoid such problems we recommend using Firefox 3, which will smoothly run the scripts present on our website , and show it up properly and faster.

Internet Explorer conflict

To be able to view the blog properly please use Firefox 3. Internet explorer seems to have some problems with it and the pictures linked from the forums wont show up, and also some of the youtube videos wont work.

The rest of the content should work.
